Alistair Quak
Director
Alistair is a director whose work spans an array of genres. He strives to push the boundaries of storytelling with his visceral cinematic stye, and endeavours to deliver the best experience for his audiences and clients.
His directorial works have won numerous awards (National Youth Film Awards, Crowbar Awards), and featured at festivals such as the Cannes International Film Festival (Court Mertage). During his BA (Hon) Filmmaking understudies at Nanyang Technological University (Art, Design and Media), Alistair has written, directed, and edited commercials for companies such as Metro, Bata, and Scoot amongst many other.
Recently he has worked on Queen of Hearts, a Viddsee original series where he co-directed an episode shot entirely on iPhone. His latest work for his graduation project at NTU was Progress, a dystopian sci-fi action film that was nominated at the National Youth Film Awards in 2019.
Alistair has been passionately making short films since his secondary school days, and aims to bring that passion onto more larger scale projects that showcases his cinematic ambition.
